Hi, I’m Nina, a freelance writer and full-time dreamer. I am imperfect, but I’ll never stop trying. I’m a child of hard working immigrants, mother of a brilliant son and wife to a man whose heart is bigger than Texas.

Somewhere deep inside, I am a big city girl but I love living in a small country town. The dynamic is different, as well as people I come across. I have a way of getting along with different types of people, somehow we find the same language.

I’ve had an online presence for a long time. Web design got my attention in 1998, since then I have either designed or owned a website. The internet is an interesting beast, people feel free to critique or copy you. You may think you know me, but you don’t. I am a private person, my personal life is mine to keep.

Years ago, I became a successful entrepreneur. I’ve been a business owner since I was twenty years old. Right now, I am in a transitional period, someplace between being unemployed and passionate about a different business venture. Since I cannot figure out what I’d like to be when I grow up, I write. I am a freelance writer, which helps relieve stress and also pays bills.

I am so lucky, you have no idea. Life may not have always been easy, but it brought me to where I am today. I am married to the love of my life, my knight in shining armor and the only man strong enough to put up with my hot blooded nature. I am also the mother of a handsome, brilliant and amazing kid. Motherhood has been a blessing, and something I appreciate every second of the day. My son is cool, looks too much like his father but acts just like his mother. He should be a handful to raise.

I love to work. I love music, all types of music. My life could be a country song. I am college educated, rough around the edges and a lady when I have to be. I can dress up with the girls, and drink whiskey with the boys. I have a passion for cooking, and have been told repeatedly that I could put many restaurants out of business. I love to read. There is something beautiful about the dusty smell of old books. I love to laugh, and have a sarcastic sense of humor. I prefer to laugh about something every day of my life. I love to love, but also keep a guard up. I study people. I love honesty, even the brutal kind. One day I will conquer the world or die trying….
