Kody was born almost two years ago and it seems like time just flew by. I remember how beautiful the first few weeks were, when my husband had a lot of time off of work and we just spent it being a new family. My husband and I used to turn the TV on but never watch it. Then when Kody would fall asleep, we’d attempt to watch a movie but we’d both fall asleep 10 minutes into it.
When Kody was an infant we had plenty of long nights and no sleep. What came in handy was TV On Demand. We’d find something like SpongeBob just for background noise or we’d watch a movie while trying to get the baby to fall asleep. Kody became a huge fan of SpongeBob from early age and then he moved on to Sesame Street. Now he demands that we watch Elmo, even when Sesame Street is not on any channel. I can’t say how awesome TV On Demand has been, especially when we can grant his wish to watch Elmo whenever he wants.
If you are a Mom with Charter digital TV service, you have On Demand. Charter’s On Demand is not just for TV shows your kid likes. When the baby is sleeping, you can catch up on your favorites or snuggle up with your husband to watch a movie. You can watch thousands of movies and TV shows anytime you want. I prefer to catch up on episodes of The Real Housewives whenever Kody is in bed. That way I can keep up with all the drama and get the scoop in peace and quiet.
Charter TV service is not available in all areas, but you can learn more at charter.net/ondemand. You can also get updates and fun extras on Charter’s Facebook page.

Kody and I have been sick for a week now, but we are slowly getting better. He has diarrhea issues now but less fever, most of the day he spent without a temperature which is good. He was fussy tonight and as usual nothing in the world made him happy. Sometimes I wonder if his whining is a secret plan to drive me insane.
This week has been so exhausting. I am starting to feel mentally drained despite feeling better physically. I couldn’t even tell you what’s wrong. I’m stressed out and just irritated. I wish I could put my husband in a helium balloon and make him go away for a few days. The bad part is that he hasn’t really done anything wrong. He’s been working a lot, 12 hour days, but I’m too annoyed with everything including the sound of his voice.
I have to get back to work because this week sidetracked me again. I am still far away from my goal of 40-70 articles a week for Demand Studios. This is one major reason why I have been so stressed out and frustrated. I just do not understand why this goal seems so impossible to achieve. Now I’m spending another Friday night working for Demand Studios, and I’ll spend another Saturday night as well trying to get as many articles in as possible.

Giving homeless pets a loving home is a cause very dear to my heart. My saved my oldest dog, Rocky, from an abuse puppy mill. The first three months of his life were horrible, where he endured physical abuse and did not even have his basic puppy shots. The first week of Rocky being in my home was difficult. He was afraid of everything, including plastic trash bags and the vacuum cleaner. It was also expensive to treat all of his medical problems, but he pulled through. I would love to adopt a dog sometime in the future, especially once we have a larger home. Our home right now can handle two dogs and no other critters.
Petango.com is a wonderful pet adoption service, providing listings for cats and dogs that are in need of a good home. I could spend hours browsing their adopt a pet listings. If it were up to me, I would adopt every single dog available but my husband would be very unhappy. The wonderful thing about this adoption service is being able to search for locally available animals. You can see pictures and descriptions, as well as information on shelters that have them. Another option is to search by breeds, just remember that mutts need a loving home too!
Petango.com – Adopt a cat! or a dog… with convenience. Your new pet will be forever grateful.

What’s a ‘Mommycrite’? It’s a Mommy who’s a hypocrite… but has a hard time admitting it. As I suspected, Kody has an ear infection and is on antibiotics. I had a hard time time getting in touch with his pediatrician, because the entire world seems to be sick. I had to drive almost 30 miles to a different office that could see him and prescribe antibiotics. We had to deal with days or whining, crying and fussing over his achy ears. Completely understandable and as a mother I feel like days without sleep are worth it as long as my son is happy. He went through periods where he refused to cuddle or snuggle, or he’d prefer to snuggle with daddy but not with me. Then of course he’d get in the mood to only be in my arms, and refusing to let me walk away for even a minute.
He seems to be feeling better and today he’s in daycare. I felt bad taking him this morning but he’s feeling better and not fussing. His daycare is fully capable of giving him medicine, and of course they would call if he’d need me. I told them the first sign of fussing or crying that they need to call me. I had an appointment this morning and have a dozen articles to write before the end of the day. I wanted him in daycare so bad for months and finally convinced my husband that it is the best thing for Kody. Now? I’m such a hypocrite because I miss him so much…
For one, I knew that he would get sick as soon as he joined a daycare center. I know I cannot stop every germ floating around but introducing him to kids at this time of the year only invites viruses into our home. Sure enough, he’s sick.
I know I cannot get any work done when he is home. This has been proven to me many times in almost two years of his life. He wants attention and sure enough if I sit down at my desk, he will come over to bother the life out of me. You cannot explain to a toddler that there is work to be done and bills to be paid. All he cares about is BobBob, ‘nacks’ (snacks) and milk. He also just enjoys harassing me.
My husband claimed that this would happen. That I would regret my decision after throwing a major fit and demanding that we sign him up for daycare. I can’t even utter the words because my husband would say “I told you so.”
He’s also in daycare for only three days a week… I need the break and I enjoy the silence, but I also love spending time with my little boy. Working from home can be a blessing but it can also be a constant journey to finding the perfect balance. We have no harmony obviously, not yet at least.

Since we live in Pennsylvania, we get to enjoy livestock and farm shows. I know it seems like an odd event to attend, but they are actually a lot of fun. The shows are something my husband and I have attended since we were kids, and now having a child means we can take him to enjoy the fun as well. A great thing about livestock events is that they host awesome concerts. We have never attended a large event such as the Houston Rodeo, but it seems like something the whole family would enjoy.
My husband and I love music very much, so checking out Houston Rodeo concert tickets is something we’d be interested in. Some of the musicians already lined up to perform are Brad Paisley and Tim McGraw. I don’t enjoy all of McGraw’s solo work, but his duets with Faith Hill are phenomenal. Of course, my husband would love to see Faith Hill. I love most of Brad Paisley’s songs, “She’s Everything” is a song very near and dear to my heart.
Houston Rodeo & Livestock Show seems like a great event that we would like to attend sometime in the future. The prices are reasonable and affordable. I found Brad Paisley tickets for as low as $78, which is completely affordable considering the large event that we would be attending.

One of the best things about the internet is the convenience to find whatever materials you may need. Interstate Plastics offers lucite materials as well as other plastic products such as tubes, pipes and rods. Lucite is window clear and works well in UV applications.
The products can be custom ordered by using their cut-to-size tool. The variety of their plastic products can be used for shelving, decorations, lighting fixtures and more.

I absolutely love to cook. In fact, I spend a lot of my time in the kitchen preparing home cooked meals. I use a lot of spices and I’m never afraid to try something new. My spice rack always has parsley but also paprika. It must be my heritage, but somehow cooking without paprika would make me notice that something was missing in the dish.
I use both sweet and hungarian paprika, although I prefer the Hungarian version. It has a robust and rustic flavor, which I love in my soups and stews. I never make a beef stew without paprika. I also use it in a rice pilaf, adding just a dash for flavor and color.

I wish I could say that I have perfect credit score right now, but the truth is that there is a mistake or two on my report. Not mistakes by the reporting agencies, but mistakes I made during a rough financial period we went through several years ago. Not every investment turns out to be a good idea, and sometimes a business move can hurt your financially. We had our best intentions of course, but life takes strange paths and this economy gave us hard money lessons. I’m sure it will take a while for us to fully recover financially but I know that I’m taking control of my credit score right now. All of my payments are up to date and everything will be smooth sailing from now on. I’m taking care of my credit by making on time payments, however I never knew that a credit repair laywer existed.
Identity Theft Legal can assist you with credit reporting mistakes and incorrect information. Identity theft can seriously hurt you financially if information is reported to your credit. Even though the charges were fraudulent and your identity was stolen, the credit report would disclose any credit cards and loans the thief used. A credit repair lawyer can help you find appropriate channels to fix your bad credit due to identity theft. They can also advise you on how to protect yourself from it in the future, and help you repair the damage.

It is true that you can find anything on the internet. Diesel parts are hard to come by in our small town. Many vehicle owners choose Diesel because of long commutes to bigger cities around us, but repairs get bothersome when no one in town carries a part your car needs.
Diesel Parts Pros is a great online shop that offers parts such as diesel turbocharger, diesel injectors, fuel pumps and more. Whatever your Diesel engine needs, this website will be able to provide it. They also cater to a wide variety of Diesel vehicle models from Audi, Jeep, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Chevrolet and Volvo. So international or domestic Diesel vehicle parts are no longer hard to find.

I am a member of several freelance writing communities. Though my memberships, I try to help others start portfolio websites. A freelance writer can benefit from blogging as well as from having an online portfolio that potential clients can access. For a freelance writer, an online portfolio can consist of every online publication they have written for as well as samples of their work. I always warn my writer friends to not e-mail anyone unpublished samples. Unfortunately, some people will use them without permission. Having a website however protects the writer while their work is showcased.
I also encourage my writer friends to research web hosting companies before starting their website. As someone with extensive knowledge of the web hosting industry, I know that there is scam out there and people who do not provide respectable service. Writers are always used to doing research, yet many of them fail to do a simple review check of the company they will be giving money to.
Writers interested in starting portfolio websites should check into website hosting company reviews. A database of reviews and information on every company helps keep the industry honest, but it also gives the customers the most reliable service for their monies. A website can mean a lot to a writer, so it is important to host it with a company that is capable of providing quality services.
