Email Wedding Invitations

The older I get, the more frugal and environmentally conscious I become. I have taken small steps to make sure my family lives a better and less wasteful life. One way to help is to cut out on paper waste. I have started to send out our Christmas cards and any party invitations though e-mail, instead of wasting paper and letting it end up on our landfills.
I love the idea of email wedding invitations. This past summer we went to a wedding where invitations and save the date notifications were sent via e-mail. To me, the invitations were still personal and thoughtful.
Ways to make e-mail wedding invitations personal are to choose wedding-related templates, add or choose your music, add your own photo and thoughtful text. You can word them the same as you would a traditional paper invitation. To keep with the theme, you can also send out thank you notes via e-mail. An e-mailed thank you note allows you to be more personal and really thank the attendee from the bottom of your heart. Plus, it is so convenient. Most people I know, with the exception of our elderly grandparents, have computers and e-mail access.
