I have a lot of friends who despise Twitter. I have a few online buddies that love this social media tool and we interact through it daily. I personally feel that Twitter has a purpose if used correctly. It does have millions of users who constantly use Twitter for whatever it is they wish to share. I also think that Twitter can do a lot of good and millions of people can be informed of a good cause.
One such great cause is “Make-a-Wish Twee-a-Cause”. Jacob, a beautiful young boy with a rare and life-threatening disease (Atresia), has a wish to go to Disneyland. We can use Twitter to make his dream come true.
LeapFish and Make-a-Wish Foundation have joined forces to send Jacob and his family to Disneyland. They will use Twitter to raise awareness to this cause and for every tweet LeapFish will donate 5 cents. Target of $10,000 is set to get Jacob and his family to Disneyland.
Here is what you have to tweet in order to help Jacob meet Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and to see all of Disneyland with his family:
Just tweeted 2 grant a childs wish! #LeapFish donates to #makeawish foundation for each tweet. http://bit.ly/3Tj8A Please retweet!
Copy and paste this message into your Twitter account. Twitter is completely free, so you can even sign-up now and tweet a message for Jacob. Please help by joining this tweet-a-cause for Jacob. It does not cost you anything and LeapFish is wonderful enough to step in to fund this cause. Let’s make Jacob’s dream come true!

This is a very nice thing for someone to do for a sick child. Thanks for sharing the information.
