Cooking School Weekend For Couples

Date: Sep 2, 2009      Category: Writing Nook

I love to cook but have never had the chance to have a formal culinary class. An event hosted at the Hilton Branson Convention Center, in Missourri, seems like just my type of relaxing and fun weekend. HIlton Branson Convention Center Cooking School Weekend is being held on the 16th and 17th of October. The fun cooking weekend offer includes deluxe accommodations for two people Friday and Saturday evening. My husband does not know how to cook but I bet he’d enjoy a class taught by Chef Nathan.

The menus prepared have a fall/holiday theme, which means you could learn new techniques and recipes and host a fabulous Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner party at your home. The wine reception is being held on Friday night, as a welcoming event. Saturday is a busy day, as the guests learn to make the prior night’s appetizers. Saturday night the guests are treated to a fabulous four course dinner and wine. Sunday, Chef Nathan is  teaching the participants how to prepare the four course dinner, paired with appropriate wines. The event is all about food, eating amazing food but also learning how to recreate the same recipes in your own kitchen.

This two people getaway for Friday and Saturday evening is available for just $398.00 plus tax for both nights! The special offer dates are from Oct. 16, 2009 – Oct. 18, 2009.

The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel has more interesting events and attractions, such as the Moon River Theatre where entertainment and nights of talented theatre are held. The hotel is withing driving distance of Branson’s championship golf courses, where I’m sure my husband would be easily found. Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede is another entertainment attraction available in Branson, Missouri.

Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel offers many amenities and luxuries associated with the Hilton Hotel name. Their hotel also has a pool and many family-friendly accommodations. Although, for the Cooking School Weekend, I would suggest making it a getaway for you and that special sweetheart in your life. Cooking brings people closer and it is so much fun to learn about wine, how to pair it with food and wow your family and guests this holiday season.
